Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and quality standards.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary work station.
- Assist with food preparation and daily kitchen duties.
- Ensure food safety and proper food handling procedures are followed at all times.
- Work efficiently during busy service periods while maintaining consistency.
- Communicate effectively with the kitchen and front-of-house teams.
Requirements
- Minimum 2–3 years of line cook experience in a fast-paced kitchen.
- Valid Food Handler Certificate (required).
- Smart Serve Certification is an asset but not required.
- Ability to lift up to 40 lbs.
- Able to stand and work on your feet for extended periods.
- Available to work weekends, evenings, and holidays as required.
- Reliable, punctual, and dependable with a robust work ethic.
- Positive attitude and willingness to work as part of a team.
- Must have reliable transportation to and from work, as public transit options are limited.
