Position Summary

Mr. T Contracting is looking for a detail-oriented Estimator to prepare accurate and competitive cost estimates for residential, commercial, and civil construction projects. The Estimator works closely with the operations team, suppliers, and subcontractors to develop bids, control costs, and support successful project delivery.

Responsibilities

- Review drawings, specifications, and project documents.
- Prepare quantity take-offs and detailed cost estimates.
- Obtain and evaluate supplier and subcontractor pricing.
- Prepare and submit competitive bids and proposals.
- Assist with budgeting, scheduling, and project handovers.
- Maintain accurate estimating records and cost databases.
- Track material and labour pricing to ensure estimates remain current.
- Attend site visits and pre-bid meetings as required.

Qualifications





- Construction estimating experience preferred.
- Strong construction knowledage
- Ability to read blueprints and specifications.
- Strong math, analytical, and organizational skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office; Buildertrend experience is an asset.
- Excellent communication and time management skills.
- Valid BC Driver's Licence.

Pay: $30.00-$40.00 per hour
