Collision Estimator

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Collision Estimator to join our growing collision repair team. The ideal candidate is knowledgeable in collision repair, insurance claims, and vehicle estimating, with the ability to provide exceptional customer service from the initial estimate through vehicle delivery.

Responsibilities

- Inspect damaged vehicles and prepare accurate repair estimates using Mitchell Estimating.
- Explain repair procedures, costs, and timelines to customers in a explicit and professional manner.
- Communicate with insurance companies and adjusters to obtain approvals and supplements.
- Coordinate with technicians and production staff to ensure efficient workflow and quality repairs.
- Monitor repair progress and keep customers informed throughout the repair process.
- Identify and document additional damage as repairs progress.
- Maintain accurate records of estimates, supplements, customer communications, and repair documentation.
- Ensure all estimates comply with manufacturer and insurance guidelines.
- Deliver exceptional customer service while maintaining a high level of professionalism.
- Assist with scheduling repairs and managing repair timelines to maximize shop efficiency.

Qualifications

- Previous experience as a Collision Estimator or in an automotive collision repair environment.
- Experience using Mitchell Estimating and Repair Center.




- Strong understanding of vehicle construction, collision repair procedures, and insurance claims.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Strong organizational and time management abilities.
- Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.

Preferred Qualifications

- I-CAR certification is an asset.
- Experience working in a dealership or high-volume collision center.
- Knowledge of OEM repair procedures.
- Experience estimating and repairing Tesla vehicles is highly preferred. Familiarity with Tesla repair procedures, parts ordering, and OEM standards is considered a strong asset.

Pay: $70,000.00-$85,000.00 per year
