Overview

We are looking for a friendly and motivated Barista to join our team at Doe Coffee in Vancouver. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing a variety of high-quality beverages—including coffee, espresso drinks, tea lattes, and more—while providing exceptional customer service and helping maintain a welcoming café environment. If you enjoy working in a rapid-paced setting and are passionate about coffee and specialty drinks, we’d love to hear from you. Previous barista experience is a plus, but we’re happy to train the right candidate.

Duties

- Prepare and serve a range of beverages, including coffee, espresso drinks, tea lattes, and other café items with consistency and care.
- Greet customers warmly and take orders efficiently with a positive attitude.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, including the beverage station and front counter.
- Follow all health, safety, and food handling procedures.
- Restock and prep ingredients and supplies as needed throughout the day.
- Assist in opening and closing duties,



including cash handling and cleaning tasks.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations, especially during busy hours.
- Handle customer inquiries or concerns with professionalism and empathy.

Requirements

- Previous barista or café experience is preferred but not required.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and multitask when needed.
- Basic math skills for handling transactions accurately.
- Familiarity with food safety practices is an asset.
- Team-oriented, reliable, and self-motivated.
- Availability for weekend or holiday shifts as needed.
- Must be legally eligible to work in Canada.

Pay: From $21.00 per hour
