We are seeking a dynamic and energetic Shift Manager to lead our manufacturing operations during designated shifts. Duties
- Supervise daily manufacturing operations, ensuring production targets are met efficiently and safely
- Coordinate with supply chain teams to manage inventory levels and ensure timely material availability
- Utilize ERP systems such as SAP to monitor production schedules, inventory, and order fulfillment
- Implement process improvements using lean manufacturing principles to enhance productivity and reduce waste
- Oversee quality control procedures to maintain high standards of product quality and compliance
- Lead assembly line teams, providing guidance, training,
and motivation to maximize performance
- Conduct regular safety inspections, enforce safety protocols, and promote a culture of safety awareness among staff
Skills
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot equipment issues quickly and effectively
- Experience working with ERP systems like SAP and MRP (Material Requirements Planning) tools for production planning
- In-depth understanding of manufacturing processes, lean manufacturing techniques, and continuous improvement methodologies
- Knowledge of supply chain management principles to optimize material flow and inventory levels
- Ability to analyze data related to process performance for ongoing process improvement initiatives
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate teams and foster a collaborative work environment
- Familiarity with quality control standards and assembly operations within a manufacturing setting
Pay: From $17.60 per hour
