Job Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and extremely organized Accounts Payable Specialist to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the company's accounts payable processes, ensuring accurate and timely payments, and maintaining strong vendor relationships. This role requires solid understanding of bookkeeping, data entry, and account reconciliation. The Accounts Payable Specialist plays a crucial part in supporting overall financial operations and ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.

- Opening and distributing mail
- Matching Invoices to Purchase Order and Receiving, verifying information CAD
- Keep track of Credit Card Spending
- Working with others to get approval of Invoices.
- Coding and Entering
- Maintain Filing System
- Cheque Run Preparation
- Printing Cheques
- Reconciling Vendor Statements.




- Prepare Month End Accruals
- Adding New Vendors and updating our Vendor Management procedure per ISO requirements.
- A/R Deposit, Posting to Bank and Database Entry
- Canadian A/R collection and reporting
- Checking O/E Invoices
- Preparing UPS labels for US shipments
- Ordering Office/Photo Copy Supplies
- Backup to Invoicing including Customs Documentation and BOL
- Other duties as assigned

REQUIREMENTS

- 5 Years Experience
- Multi Currency experience
- Microsoft Office
- Sage 300
- Excellent Communication Skills

Pay: $55,000.00-$60,000.00 per year
