As a Cashier, you play an important role in providing customers with a positive checkout experience in a friendly, efficient, and welcoming environment. You will support daily store operations by accurately processing transactions, assisting customers with purchases, and maintaining a clean and organized checkout area while following cash handling and store policies. Familiarity with a wide variety of products, along with the ability to promote items and support sales, is considered an asset.

Key Responsibilities

- Greet customers warmly and provide assistance with their purchases.
- Accurately process cash, credit, and debit transactions using the point-of-sale system.
- Handle cash with care, ensuring all transactions are recorded correctly.
- Provide product demonstrations and promote sales to enhance customer experience.
- Maintain a clean and organized checkout area.
- Address customer inquiries and resolve any issues promptly.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth store operations.
- Assist in restocking shelves and maintaining inventory as needed.





Qualifications & Skills

- Previous experience in cashiering, retail sales or customer service is preferred.
- Strong cash handling skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent time management abilities to handle peak hours efficiently.
- Bilingual or multilingual skills are a plus but not required, enhancing communication with diverse customers.
- Familiarity with Western and Asian grocery products is an asset
- Strong interpersonal skills to build rapport with customers and team members.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving and customer satisfaction.
