Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Cleaning Supervisor to lead our cleaning team and ensure the highest standards of cleanliness and maintenance across our facilities. The ideal candidate will possess solid leadership skills, excellent communication, and a solid background in custodial and facilities maintenance. This role involves overseeing daily cleaning operations, managing staff, and ensuring safety protocols are followed to maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for clients and staff alike.

Duties

- Supervise and coordinate daily cleaning activities across multiple facilities, ensuring tasks are completed efficiently and to quality standards
- Train and mentor cleaning staff on proper use of cleaning techniques, tools, and safety procedures




- Utilize hand tools, power tools, and custodial equipment to perform routine maintenance tasks as needed
- Oversee the use of facilities maintenance equipment, including power tools and heavy-duty cleaning machinery
- Conduct regular inspections to ensure cleanliness, safety compliance, and proper equipment operation
- Manage inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, placing orders as necessary
- Address customer service concerns related to cleanliness or facility issues promptly and professionally
- Enforce safety protocols related to heavy lifting, use of power tools, and other custodial activities
- Prepare reports on operational performance and areas for improvement

Skills

- Proven experience in commercial cleaning or custodial services with supervisory responsibilities
- Strong knowledge of facilities maintenance procedures and the use of hand tools, power tools, and heavy lifting techniques
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with staff and clients
- Effective time management skills to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to lead a team with clear communication skills and a positive attitude
- Knowledge of safety standards related to custodial work, including proper handling of equipment and safe lifting practices
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail
- Strong organizational skills for inventory management and reporting requirements
