Job Overview

We in search of an experienced Operations Manager for a busy Heavy Equipment company. In this role you will be required to oversee day-to-day dispatch operations, truck maintenance scheduling, and shop activities. This is a hands on leadership role for someone with a strong background in heavy equipment and construction, who thrives on keeping trucks moving, crews coordinated, and projects on schedule

Key Responsibilities

- Ensure dispatch operations run smoothly on a day-to-day basis
- Oversee and maintain the truck maintenance schedule
- Manage and schedule dispatching of various trucks
- Lead, coordinate, and manage a team of drivers and shop staff
- Coordinate heavy equipment logistics for construction projects, keeping timelines on track
- Support and oversee shop operations and maintenance activities




- Maintain accurate scheduling records and ensure attention to detail across all operations
- Provide strong customer service to clients and internal teams
- Travel to various jobsites as required

Requirements

- Experience with heavy equipment and construction projects and timelines.
- Shop experience required
- Proven experience managing a team
- Experience dispatching and scheduling trucks
- Strong attention to detail
- Strong customer service skills
- Ability to work 10-12 hour shifts, weekends and evenings as required.
- Valid driver's licence and a clean driver's abstract
- Legally entitled to work in Canada

Pay: $80,000.00-$110,000.00 per year
