One of a network of provincial community health centres, the NorWest Community Health Centres is a community based, non-profit organization funded by Ontario Health, emphasizing access to primary health care and prevention programs and services.

We are currently seeking 0.5 FTE Contract Project Evaluator to join our Homelessness and Addiction Recovery Treatment Hub (HART Hub). The Project Evaluator – HART Hub will be responsible for assessing the effectiveness and impact of programs aimed at addressing homelessness and supporting individuals in recovery from addiction. The successful candidate will collaborate with various stakeholders, including program staff, clients, and external partners, to design and implement evaluation frameworks, collect and analyze data, develop reports, and provide evidence-based recommendations for program improvements. HART Hub is a state-of-the-art treatment hub designed to provide comprehensive support and resources that address the root cause of homelessness and addiction.
The position has a competitive salary, the Health Care of Ontario Pension Plan (HOOPP) and an excellent group health benefit package.
The pay range for this position is from $39.582 to $45.708 per hour. We do not use AI to screen resumes.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor's Degree in a related field or a combination of educational experiences.
- Three to five years’ experience in project evaluation, research, or similar roles, with a focus on social services, healthcare, homelessness, or addiction treatment programs.
- Solid understanding of both qualitative and quantitative research methodologies.
- Ability to design, implement, and manage comprehensive evaluation frameworks, including defining metrics, collecting data, and assessing program outcomes.
- Solid ability to create clear, concise reports and presentations that communicate complex findings to diverse audiences.
- Knowledge of various evaluation tools and techniques, including surveys, interviews, focus groups, case reviews, and observational methods.
- Experience and knowledge about ethics of collecting data with vulnerable populations.
- A passion for advocating for underserved populations, particularly in the areas of housing, addiction treatment, and social services.
- Strong understanding and alignment with the concepts of trauma-informed care and culturally safer care.
