Position Overview:
The role is responsible for supporting utility coordinator on managing water and wastewater operations related to residential properties surrounding the resort. This role ensures accurate billing and payment processing for water services, maintains compliance with regulatory requirements, and serves as the primary liaison between the resort, residents, and government agencies.
Key Responsibilities:
Billing and Payments Management
- Prepare, issue, and manage water and wastewater service bills for surrounding residential households.
- Monitor accounts receivable and payable to ensure timely collections and payments.
- Address billing inquiries and resolve discrepancies promptly.
Regulatory Compliance and Reporting
- Prepare and submit required reports to relevant government agencies.
- Maintain accurate records for audits and inspections.
Stakeholder Communication
- Assisting Coordinator to deal with government authorities and regulatory bodies on permits, inspections, and compliance issues.
- Communicate service updates, policy changes, and maintenance schedules to residents.
Operational Support
- Collaborate with internal maintenance teams to address operational issues and emergencies.
- Identify and recommend improvements to billing systems and service processes.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in utilities management, water/wastewater services, or billing coordination preferred.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Proficiency in Great Plains Software and Microsoft Office applications.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities effectively.
