RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Maintain the grounds surrounding the building, ensuring it is safe and aesthetically pleasing
- Manage and conduct daily, weekly, and monthly inspections/checks
- Assists with moving and storage of supplies and equipment
- Report on equipment malfunctions
- Maintain and make adjustments and minor repairs to heating, cooling, ventilation, plumbing, electrical systems, etc.
- Performs other routine maintenance such as painting, drywall repair etc.
- Contact and follow-up with contractors, technicians, and service representatives utilized by the organization when necessary
- Available for emergency calls
- Additional duties as assigned by supervisor





QUALIFICATIONS:

- Knows basic carpentry, welding, furnace repair, small appliance repair and safety regulations
- Must be self directed, dependable, conscientious, and lead by example
- Ability to organize and complete assigned workloads
- Strong verbal and written English communication skills
- Physically fit/able to perform physically demanding job duties
- Able to work as part of a team with other Department
- Previous maintenance experience is an asset
- Must posess a valid drivers licence
- Must be double vaccinated
- Must be able to provide a explicit criminal record/vulnerable sector search
