Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Medical Office Assistant (MOA) for our Pediatrics office. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting our healthcare team by ensuring smooth office operations and providing exceptional care to our young patients and their families. This position requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and a passion for working with children in a medical setting.

Responsibilities
- Greet patients and their families warmly upon arrival and assist with the check-in process.
- Schedule appointments and manage the appointment calendar efficiently.
- Collect patient information, including medical histories and insurance details, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.
- Assist healthcare providers during patient examinations and procedures as needed.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the office environment, including exam rooms and waiting areas.
- Handle incoming calls, respond to inquiries, and relay messages to appropriate staff members.




- Process patient billing and insurance claims accurately.
- Ensure compliance with all health regulations and office policies.

Requirements
- Previous experience as a Medical Office Assistant or in a similar role is preferred.

-Proficiency in Medaccess EMR for at least 6 months preferred.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to interact effectively with children and their families.
- Basic knowledge of medical terminology related to pediatrics is advantageous.
- Ability to multitask in a rapid-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Compassionate demeanor with a genuine interest in providing quality care to pediatric patients.
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional certification as a Medical Office Assistant is desirable.
