Kitchen Prep Cook / Culinary Assistant — Private Chef Business (Vancouver)

Private Plates Dining Inc., a premium private chef and meal prep business, is seeking a reliable, detail-oriented prep cook to support high-end residential and event cooking. This is hands-on work in a small, fast-moving operation where quality and consistency matter more than volume.

Responsibilities:

- Prep vegetables, proteins, and components to spec

- Follow strict dietary parameters (gluten-free, allergen-aware, portion-controlled)

- Package and label meals for delivery with attention to presentation

- Maintain a clean, organized, food-safe workspace

- Assist with grocery receiving and inventory

What we're looking for:

- 3+ years kitchen experience (private, catering, or restaurant)





- Strong knife skills and understanding of mise en place

- Comfort with precise recipes and dietary restrictions

- FOODSAFE Level 1 (or willing to obtain)

- Punctual, self-directed, and clean

Details:

- Part-time / as-needed, with room to grow

- Competitive hourly rate based on experience

- Vancouver-based
