Job Title: Senior Waste Equipment Service Technician / Foreman

Salary: $25.00 $45.00 per hour (Based on Experience)

Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Senior Waste Equipment Service Technician / Foreman to join a growing field service team. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled technician with strong mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, and welding experience who enjoys troubleshooting industrial equipment and leading service projects.

Key Responsibilities

- Diagnose, repair, and maintain compactors, balers, pressure washers, scrubbers, catch basin covers, waste bins, and other industrial equipment.

- Troubleshoot and repair hydraulic, electrical, and mechanical systems.

- Perform preventive maintenance and respond to emergency service calls.

- Complete basic PLC troubleshooting and equipment programming.

- Perform light welding, fabrication, and cutting as required.

- Complete digital work orders and service reports accurately.

- Prepare repair recommendations and communicate effectively with customers.

- Assist with estimating jobs and ordering parts.





- Lead service projects and provide guidance to junior technicians.

- Maintain a protected, clean, and professional work environment.

Qualifications
- Experience repairing waste, industrial, or heavy equipment.

- Strong knowledge of hydraulic and electrical systems.

- Basic welding and fabrication experience.

- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

- Valid Ontario G Driver's Licence.

- Ability to work independently and within a team environment.

- Strong customer service and communication skills.

- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and digital work order systems.

- Salesforce experience is considered an asset.
