Position Summary

Logan Katz's client, a food manufacturing company, is seeking an experienced, hands-on Financial Controller to oversee the company鈥檚 financial operations, reporting, cash-flow management and internal controls.

Reporting directly to the CEO, the Financial Controller will provide timely and accurate financial information, strengthen financial discipline and support management as the company continues to grow its manufacturing, retail, foodservice and private-label business.

Key Responsibilities

路 Prepare timely monthly financial statements and management reports.

路 Manage cash flow, banking requirements and short-term financial planning.

路 Manage accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll and general accounting.

路 Prepare and monitor budgets, forecasts and financial performance analysis.

路 Monitor product cash flow, margins, inventory and manufacturing expenses.

路 Maintain strong effective internal financial controls to prevent and/or detect errors or irregularities.

路 Assess, develop and implement appropriate accounting procedures. and accounting procedures.

路 Coordinate year-end reporting with external accountants.

路 Prepare financial information for banks, lenders, shareholders and government programs.





路 Support management with financial decisions, pricing and growth planning.

路 Supervise and support the accounting and administrative team.

Qualifications

路 CPA designation or equivalent senior financial experience preferred.

路 Minimum five years of accounting or financial management experience.

路 Experience in food manufacturing, consumer packaged goods or manufacturing is an asset.

路 Strong knowledge of cash-flow management, costing, budgeting and financial reporting.

路 Proficient with accounting software, Microsoft Excel, and efficient artificial intelligence tools.

路 Organized, dependable and comfortable working in a growing entrepreneurial company.

路 Solid, clear, sophisticated oral and written communication skills.

Pay: $90,000.00-$120,000.00 per year
