About Core Fabrication
Core Fabrication Inc. designs and manufactures premium truck decks, service bodies, and custom equipment for North America's most demanding industries. Our entire manufacturing process is completed in-house, from design and fabrication through to hydraulics, electrical, paint, and final assembly.
We are looking for an experienced Drawing Detailer / CAD Designer to join our engineering team. This role is ideal for someone who is highly skilled in Autodesk Fusion 360 and enjoys creating accurate manufacturing drawings for production.
This is an on-site position only. Remote or work-from-home applicants will not be considered.
Responsibilities
- Create detailed manufacturing and fabrication drawings using Autodesk Fusion 360.
- Develop part drawings, assembly drawings, and production packages.
- Produce accurate Bills of Materials (BOMs).
- Revise drawings and maintain revision control.
- Collaborate with production and project teams to ensure designs are practical and ready for manufacturing.
- Ensure drawings meet company quality standards and manufacturing requirements.
- Support continuous improvement of design and drafting processes.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of professional experience using Autodesk Fusion 360.
- Advanced working knowledge of Fusion 360 is required.
- Certificate, diploma, or degree in Drafting,
Mechanical Design, Engineering Technology, or a related field.
- Experience creating fabrication or manufacturing drawings.
- Strong understanding of metal fabrication and manufacturing processes.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Strong communication and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects.
