Fluffy Mutts Pet & House Sitting is seeking a responsible , mature caring Pet and House Sitter to provide exceptional care for pets and maintain the safety and cleanliness of clients' homes. This role offers an opportunity to work independently while ensuring pets are loved, fed, exercised, and monitored, and homes are kept secure and tidy during owners’ absence. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong customer service skills, reliability, and a genuine love for animals. Applicants must be 18 years of age , perfect for a retired person looking for extra income. This paid position is perfect for individuals who enjoy working with pets and taking pride in maintaining a welcoming environment for clients. We proudly serve Fort Saskatchewan and surrounding areas. We also serve farms and acreages.

Responsibilities

- Feed, water, and administer medication to pets as instructed by owners
- Provide companionship and playtime to pets to ensure their well-being and happiness
- Follow specific care routines outlined by pet owners, including walking, administering medications, and or special special diets
- Monitor pets’ health and behavior, reporting any concerns to the owner promptly
- Maintain the cleanliness of the home, including light housekeeping tasks such as tidying up pet areas and doing laundry if needed
- Collect mail, water plants, and perform other household duties to keep the home secure and lived-in during owner’s absence
- Communicate regularly with clients regarding pet status or home conditions as requested




- Respect privacy and adhere to all client instructions regarding household rules and pet care
- Providing updates and photos twice per day to pet owner and Team Lead
- Must be available to attend meet and greets with Pet Owners and Team Lead

Requirements

- Prior experience or a strong interest in caring for animals is preferred

Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, professional attitude

- Reliable transportation and ability to travel to clients’ homes as needed
- Ability to follow detailed instructions carefully and responsibly manage pet routines
- Strong communication skills for updates and reporting concerns to pet owners
- Trustworthiness, dependability, and a genuine love for animals are essential
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Flexibility to accommodate varying schedules based on client needs
- No party minded people as the job consists of staying in Pet owners home
- Trustworthy, as part of this job is working independent
- Being mindful that Pet Owners may have cameras in their home for safety and security purposes
- Staying overnight in Pet Owners home
