What You'll Do
As a Technical Sales Representative, you'll play a key role in supporting customers, growing territory sales, and delivering solutions that help industrial operations run more efficiently.
Customer Service & Sales Support
- Respond promptly and professionally to customer phone calls and emails
- Support the Pointe-Claire team with customer inquiries and sales activities
- Build solid relationships by providing exceptional customer service and technical support
- Assist customers in identifying the right products and solutions for their applications
Territory Sales & Business Development
- Achieve and exceed territory revenue and gross margin targets
- Develop territory growth strategies focused on solution selling and customer value
- Understand customers' businesses, goals, and operational challenges to identify opportunities
- Promote Wainbee's hydraulic, filtration, hose and fittings, pneumatic, electromechanical, automation, and integrated solution offerings
- Prospect, develop, and grow existing and new customer accounts within the territory
- Generate, qualify, and manage sales leads and business opportunities
Customer & Vendor Relationships
- Schedule and participate in regular customer visits and sales calls
- Maintain robust relationships with key suppliers and strategic vendor partners
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure customers receive effective and timely solutions
- Serve as a trusted advisor by recommending products and solutions that improve productivity and reliability
Quotations & Proposals
- Prepare, understand, and present quotations, proposals, and solution recommendations
- Follow up on quotations to maximize conversion opportunities
- Support customers throughout the sales process from initial inquiry through project completion
- Ensure proposals align with customer requirements and business objectives
Administration & Reporting
- Maintain accurate records of opportunities, activities, customer interactions, and quote status within CRM systems
- Analyze daily, monthly, and quarterly sales performance against targets
- Keep customer contact information and sales activities up to date
- Participate in ongoing technical and sales training programs

Qualifications
Required
- Certificate or Diploma of Collegial Studies in a related technical and/or commercial discipline
- 1 to 3 years of industrial sales experience
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office 365
- Experience working with ERP systems
- Ability to manage customer relationships and sales opportunities effectively
Assets
- Experience in solution-based selling
- Knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, filtration, automation, or industrial products
- Experience developing and presenting technical proposals
- Familiarity with CRM platforms and sales pipeline management
- Understanding of industrial manufacturing and maintenance environments
Travel Requirements
- Regular travel within the territory to visit customers and support business development activities
- Valid driver's license and ability to travel by car as required
