About the Role
House of Handsome is looking for a responsible and hands-on Operational Partner to manage the daily operations of our Red Deer location.
This role is ideal for someone with strong leadership, customer service, and business management skills who can take ownership of the location and ensure it operates smoothly, professionally, and according to House of Handsome standards.
House of Handsome will provide the location, equipment, branding, marketing support, operational systems, and other resources required to run the business. The Operational Partner will be responsible for managing the location and its day-to-day performance.
Key Responsibilities

- Manage the daily operations of the Red Deer barbershop
- Lead, support, and supervise the barbering team
- Manage staff scheduling, attendance, and shift coverage
- Maintain a professional and welcoming customer experience
- Ensure the shop remains clean, organized, and fully operational
- Monitor inventory and request supplies when needed
- Ensure equipment is properly maintained and report any issues
- Handle customer concerns and resolve operational problems
- Monitor bookings, walk-ins, service quality, and customer flow
- Support the execution of promotions and marketing campaigns provided by House of Handsome
- Ensure all staff follow company policies, procedures, and brand standards
- Track location performance and provide regular updates to the House of Handsome management team
- Help recruit, onboard, and train team members when required




- Take ownership of the location’s overall growth, culture, and operational success

Ideal Candidate

- Previous experience managing a barbershop, salon, retail location, or service-based business
- Robust leadership and team-management skills
- Excellent communication and customer-service abilities
- Organized, dependable, and solution-oriented
- Comfortable managing schedules, inventory, staff, and daily operations
- Able to take ownership and make responsible operational decisions
- Business-minded with a focus on growth, quality, and customer satisfaction
- Knowledge of the barbering or grooming industry is an asset

Role Expectations
The Operational Partner will act as the primary on-site leader for the Red Deer location. They will be expected to treat the business as their own, maintain House of Handsome standards, and work closely with the company to achieve operational and financial goals.

Schedule: Full-time, including evenings and weekends when required
Compensation: To be discussed based on experience and partnership structure

Pay: From $65,000.00 per year
