Overview

OZ Group of Companies is seeking a dynamic, experienced, and detail-oriented Aluminum Railing Workshop Supervisor to lead our manufacturing team in producing high-quality aluminum railing systems.

The successful candidate will oversee daily workshop operations, coordinate production activities, maintain quality and safety standards, and ensure projects are completed accurately and on schedule. This is a hands-on leadership role that requires strong knowledge of aluminum fabrication, team supervision, inventory control, and production planning.

As a key member of our management team, the Workshop Supervisor will help improve production efficiency, reduce material waste, coordinate supplies, resolve operational issues, and create a positive and team-oriented work environment focused on quality, safety, and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

- Supervise the daily operations of the aluminum railing fabrication workshop.
- Assign tasks to welders, cutters, buffers and powder-coating staff.
- Review shop drawings, measurements, work orders and production requirements.
- Plan production according to installation dates, priorities and material availability.
- Ensure aluminum railings, gates, handrails, posts, pickets and related components are fabricated correctly.
- Inspect completed products for measurements, welding quality, finish and overall workmanship.
- Coordinate cutting, welding, grinding, buffing, powder coating, packaging and loading.
- Monitor production progress and provide updates to management.
- Identify fabrication errors and arrange corrections before products leave the workshop.
- Maintain inventory of aluminum profiles,



glass, hardware, powder, welding supplies and other materials.
- Prepare material requirements and report low-stock items.
- Ensure equipment and tools are properly maintained and used safely.
- Train new employees on fabrication procedures, quality standards and workplace safety.
- Enforce company policies, safety procedures and proper use of personal protective equipment.
- Maintain a clean, organized and efficient workshop.
- Coordinate with the measurement, installation and office teams to resolve production-related issues.
- Help improve workflow, reduce material waste and increase production efficiency.

Experience

- Proven experience in manufacturing supervision, preferably within metal fabrication or aluminum products.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with an understanding of assembly techniques for railing systems.
- Demonstrated ability to lead process improvement initiatives using lean manufacturing methodologies.
- Knowledge of quality control procedures and standards specific to metal fabrication industries.
- Experience managing supply chain logistics to ensure seamless production flow.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to motivate teams and foster continuous improvement initiatives.

Salary: Negotiable and based on the candidate’s competency, experience, and overall suitability for the position.
