Aviora Healthcare is seeking compassionate, dependable, and professional Personal Support Workers (PSWs) to join our growing home care team in Gravenhurst and surrounding Muskoka communities.

We provide personalized in-home care services that help seniors and adults remain safe, comfortable, and independent in their own homes.

Responsibilities

- Assist clients with personal care, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
- Support mobility, transfers, positioning, and fall prevention
- Assist with activities of daily living
- Provide companionship and emotional support
- Prepare meals and support proper nutrition and hydration
- Perform light housekeeping and laundry
- Provide medication reminders according to the care plan
- Accompany clients to appointments, errands, or community activities when required
- Observe, document, and report changes in client condition
- Follow individualized care plans, safety procedures, and company policies
- Maintain respectful and professional communication with clients, families, and the care team

Qualifications

- Personal Support Worker Certificate or equivalent healthcare training




- Previous home care, senior care, or community care experience is an asset
- Current CPR and First Aid certification preferred
- Vulnerable Sector Check required before employment
- Valid Ontario driver’s licence and reliable transportation preferred
- Strong communication, reliability, and time-management skills
- Ability to work independently in clients’ homes
