Your Role

As the Finance Director, you will serve as a strategic business partner to the Plant Director and the plant

leadership team.

You will transform financial data into meaningful analyses, actionable recommendations, and business-driven

action plans that support informed decision-making and improve plant performance. You will lead the Finance function by ensuring the integrity of financial processes, maintaining strong internal controls, and developing a

high-performing Finance team.

This position is based at our Saint-Hyacinthe manufacturing facility.

What You'll Do

- Act as a strategic business partner to the Plant Director and plant leadership by providing financial analyses, recommendations, and strategic insights that drive business performance.
- Provide financial leadership by identifying business risks, opportunities, and performance gaps,



while recommending action plans to achieve operational and financial objectives.
- Lead the annual budgeting process, financial forecasting, and performance reviews.
- Develop robust financial analyses that explain business results, identify root causes of variances, and support informed business decisions.
- Design and implement management tools and key performance indicators (KPIs) that help managers understand their financial performance and improve decision-making.
- Ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial information, internal controls, and accounting processes in accordance with corporate standards.
- Oversee month-end and year-end financial close activities, capital expenditures (CAPEX), and fixed asset management.
- Lead, coach, and develop the Finance team by fostering accountability, collaboration, continuous improvement, and professional growth.
- Partner closely with Corporate Finance teams to ensure the successful implementation of financial initiatives and maintain proactive communication regarding key business issues.

What You Bring

- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance,Business Administration, or a related field.
- CPA designation is considered a strong asset.




- Minimum of 8 years of experience in manufacturing finance.
- Significant leadership experience managing and developing teams.
- Solid experience in budgeting, financial planning and analysis (FP&A;), financial controlling, and business partnering.
- Proficiency with SAP is required.
- Advanced Excel skills; experience or other business intelligence tools is an asset.
- Bilingual in French and English (spoken and written) to collaborate effectively with corporate and international stakeholders.
- Strong analytical thinking, business acumen, influencing skills, and the ability to communicate financial information clearly to non-financial partners.
