Pay Rate: $17.60 per hour

Duties

- Monitor and patrol designated areas to prevent theft, vandalism, and unauthorized access.
- Conduct surveillance using CCTV systems to observe activity and identify potential security threats.
- Control access points by verifying credentials of employees, visitors, contractors, and vendors.
- Respond promptly to security incidents or emergencies by assessing situations and coordinating with emergency responders if needed.
- Perform loss prevention activities by identifying suspicious behavior and deterring theft or misconduct.
- Maintain detailed records of security activities, incidents, and patrols through shift reports.
- Assist with safety protocols by conducting inspections and ensuring compliance with security policies.

Requirements





- Minimum 2 years of security industry experience (mandatory).
- Valid Ontario Security Guard Licence (mandatory).
- Proven experience in law enforcement, security operations, or a related field is highly desirable.
- Strong surveillance skills with knowledge of CCTV systems and monitoring techniques.
- Ability to remain alert and attentive during long shifts while maintaining professionalism.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Knowledge of loss prevention strategies and procedures to protect assets.
- Ability to handle stressful situations calmly and decisively in accordance with established protocols.
- Must be legally eligible to work in Canada.
