SUMMARY

Reporting to the Shop Supervisor, the role involves maintaining and repairing equipment in the company’s maintenance and repair shop.

PRIMARY SCOPE OF ROLE

- Make field service calls to repair.
- Work on call rotation shifts for winter operations support.
- Troubleshoot, adjust, overhaul and maintain construction, aggregate and asphalt equipment on site and within the shop.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS

- Experience in construction, paving & aggregates equipment is needed.
- 421A Certification.
- Must have own tools.
- Mobile field service experience is an asset.
- Willing to work on equipment, trucks and small engines as required.
- A valid driver’s license and clean driver’s abstract.
- Understanding of electrical, electronic, hydraulic, mechanical, pneumatic systems and components.
- Comfortable using a computer, the internet, and other electronic resources.
- Superb communication and interpersonal skill.
- Solid ability to effectively prioritize and manage multiple competing priorities.
- Demonstrate versatility and resourcefulness in overcoming business challenges.

WHAT WE OFFER

- Expected Base Salary: $38.87 - $48.83 per hour. The actual base salary will depend on several factors including experience, qualifications, internal equity, work location and market expectations.
