Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Line Cook to join our vibrant culinary team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing and cooking a variety of dishes in a fast-paced restaurant environment, ensuring high-quality food service and safety standards. This role offers an exciting opportunity to develop your skills in food preparation, cooking, and kitchen operations while contributing to a positive dining experience for our guests. Prior restaurant or food industry experience is preferred but not required; a strong willingness to learn and a commitment to food safety are essential.

Responsibilities

- Prepare ingredients and cook menu items according to standardized recipes and presentation guidelines
- Assist in food preparation, including chopping, marinating, and assembling dishes
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including washing dishes and sanitizing work surfaces
- Ensure all food handling practices comply with safety and sanitation standards
- Monitor food quality during preparation and presentation to ensure consistency
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely service during busy hours




- Follow all health and safety regulations related to food safety and kitchen operations
- Assist with inventory management by notifying supervisors of stock levels and expiration dates

Requirements

- Previous experience in breakfast environment is preferred.
- Previous experience in food preparation, or cooking in a restaurant or food service setting is preferred
- Knowledge of food handling procedures and food safety standards
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced workplace
- Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills
- Good communication skills and the ability to work well as part of a team
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, or holidays as needed
- A passion for culinary arts and a desire to grow within the food industry
