We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Controller to join our accounting

team at Prairie Automotive Group. The Controller will play a pivotal role in

supporting the accounting and financial operations of our dealership. If you are a

Key Responsibilities:

 Prepare monthly and annual financial statements

 Maintain accounting records, including general ledger, payroll and taxes

 Reconciling accounts

 Oversee and manage accounts payable and receivable and accounting clerk

positions.

 Review sales deals and funded contracts.

 Ensure month end duties are completed by the franchise deadline.

 Work and collaborate with CFO to ensure an efficient and effective accounting

department is maintained.

 Other duties as assigned by the CFO

 Contribute to a positive and cooperative work environment

Qualifications:

 Accounting degree or relevant work experience

 Working knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP)

 Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel

 Prior experience in Automobile Dealership accounting is preferred

 Experience with PBS and related dealership accounting software is an asset but

not a requirement.

 Strong Communication and interpersonal skills





 Strong Accounting technical knowledge and attention to detail

 Self-driven and easily adaptable

 Ability to work both independently and as part of a team

 Strong organizational and time management skills and willing to tackle challenges

 High level of discretion and confidentiality
