Overview

Stalwart Carriers Inc. is looking for Company Long haul CDN/US truck driver and Owner operator. Heavy Haul and/or over dimensional experience considered a major asset with step deck and flat deck expereince.

Pay Rate: Mileage based pay . Hourly paid on waiting time, tarping and short haul.

Duties

- Safely operate flatdeck trucks to transport heavy freight over long distances, adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations
- Secure loads properly using straps, chains, and other equipment to prevent shifting or damage during transit
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles and equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety
- Plan a optimal route based on fuel rate lists provided
- Perform basic automotive repairs or troubleshooting as needed to maintain vehicle reliability on the road
- Maintain accurate documentation of deliveries, mileage logs, and freight manifests for compliance and tracking purposes
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers, clients, and team members to coordinate schedules and resolve any issues promptly
- Prepare maintenance records and plan for regular upcoming repairs as when needed

Experience





- Proven experience in commercial driving, particularly with long-haul routes involving flatdeck trailers
- Skilled in freight handling, and heavy equipment management
- Knowledge of automotive repair basics to address minor mechanical issues independently
- Familiarity with safety protocols related to heavy equipment operation and freight transportation
- Valid Class 1 (or AZ) Commercial Driver’s Licence.
- Eligible to enter the United States (valid passport and ability to cross the border).
