eAvionics is a growing Canadian avionics company operating out of Oshawa Executive Airport and Toronto Pearson. We specialize in avionics installations, retrofits, and AOG support across a wide range of aircraft.

This role is ideal for a skilled and experienced Avionics AME who takes ownership of their work, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and can confidently troubleshoot and resolve complex issues. You’ll be working hands-on with everything from minor upgrades to full avionics retrofits and responding to service calls. You will be supported by an experienced in-house team including engineering, sheet metal, and technical support staff.

What You’ll Do

- Respond to service calls scheduled by management
- Perform routine maintenance and inspections (pitot-static testing, ELT recertification, CVR/FDR checks, battery servicing, etc.)
- Diagnose and troubleshoot avionics systems efficiently and independently
- Perform avionics installations in accordance with approved data, wiring diagrams, and maintenance manuals
- Interface with customers in a professional and timely manner
- Interpret schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical documentation for installation, interfacing, and testing




- Accurately document all work using Quantum MX maintenance software
- Collaborate with engineering on STCs, Engineering Orders, and approved data
- Contribute to process improvements and best practices
- Maintain tools, equipment, and a clean, safe work environment
- Travel as required for installations and AOG support (Canada and international)

What We’re Looking For

- Valid Transport Canada AME “E” license (required)
- Experience in avionics installations and systems integration prefered
- Strong troubleshooting skills with the ability to independently resolve issues
- Professional, reliable, and detail-oriented approach to work
- Soldering skills strongly preferred
- Mechanical and/or sheet metal experience is an asset
- Familiarity with CAD software (electrical/mechanical) is an asset
- Ability to work both independently and within a team environment
- Valid Class G driver’s license
- Willingness to travel when needed, including internationally

Compensation

- Competitive hourly rate based on experience

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $32.00-$44.00 per hour

- DCS / DEC (preferred)

Experience:

- Licensed Avionics: 3 years (required)
