Building Restoration Estimator / Project Manager

About the Role

- We are seeking an experienced Building Restoration Estimator / Project Manager to join our team. This is an on-site position responsible for estimating, planning, and managing building restoration and general contracting projects from initial assessment through completion.

- The ideal candidate will have experience with construction estimating, project coordination, cost management, and restoration-related projects. This role requires strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple projects while ensuring quality, safety, and timely delivery.

Key Responsibilities

- Prepare detailed cost estimates for restoration and construction projects, including labor, materials, equipment, and subcontractor costs.

- Review drawings, specifications, scopes of work, and contract documents to develop accurate project estimates.

- Conduct site visits and assessments to evaluate project requirements and existing conditions.

- Coordinate with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and internal teams throughout project execution.

- Manage project schedules, budgets, resources, and overall project performance.

- Monitor project progress and ensure work is completed according to contract requirements, safety standards,



and quality expectations.

- Prepare and manage change orders, cost adjustments, and project documentation.

- Coordinate trades and subcontractors to ensure productive workflow and project completion.

- Provide regular project updates, reports, and status communications to stakeholders.

- Identify potential project risks and implement solutions to maintain timelines and budgets.

Qualifications & Experience

- Proven experience in construction estimating and project management.

- Experience with building restoration, exterior envelope repairs, structural repairs, or general contracting projects is highly preferred.

- Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, building codes, and safety regulations.

- Ability to prepare accurate estimates and manage project budgets effectively.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work with clients, consultants, trades, and internal teams.

- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.

- Proficiency with estimating software, Microsoft Office Suite, and project management tools.

- Construction management, engineering, or related education is an asset, or equivalent industry experience.
