Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Construction Superintendent to lead and manage projects from inception through completion. The successful candidate will oversee all in office activities, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on schedule, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. This role requires strong leadership, attention to detail, and a solid understanding of construction management practices.

Qualifications & Experience

- Minimum 5 years of construction experience
- Experience with modular school installations is considered an asset
- Strong commitment to workplace safety and compliance
- Strong knowledge of construction practices, codes, and safety regulations
- Valid safety certifications (e.g., CSTS, First Aid) are considered an asset

Key Responsibilities

- Supervise daily construction operations, ensuring compliance with safety regulations, company policies, and building codes
- Coordinate and manage subcontractors, suppliers, and site personnel to meet project milestones and deadlines
- Interpret and review blueprints, drawings, and specifications to ensure accurate execution




- Maintain high standards of quality control throughout all phases of construction
- Assist with project budgeting, cost tracking, and construction estimating
- Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress, quality, and safety compliance
- Communicate effectively with project stakeholders, providing updates and addressing challenges proactively

Requirements

- Proven experience as a Construction Superintendent or in a similar leadership role
- Strong knowledge of construction processes, quality control, and industry best practices
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
- Experience with construction estimating and budget management
- Excellent leadership, organizational, and communication skills
- Ability to lead teams while fostering a positive and collaborative work environment
