RI Landscaping doesn't do corporate fluff—we do high-quality softscaping, site transformations, and hard work. We are expanding our operations across Toronto and North York and need a dependable, seasoned Lead Field Operator who can hustle, execute at a high level, and partner directly with the owner.

This is a fast-track leadership role. You’ll start with a 3-week hands-on evaluation phase working side-by-side to prove your capabilities, with an immediate path to stepping up as our primary field operator—running site execution with the owner and stepping into managing future team members as we scale.

The Compensation & Growth:

- Starting Wage: $23.00/hr during the initial 3-week onboarding and evaluation phase.
- Rapid Advancement: Once you demonstrate your autonomy and ability to run sites, your pay jumps straight to $30.00/hr.
- The Role: You aren't babysitting an entry-level crew right out of the gate; you are working directly alongside the owner on high-end softscaping builds, mastering our systems, and transitioning into a primary leadership role.

What You'll Be Doing:

- Full-Cycle Softscaping Execution: Deep garden bed excavation, edging, planting perennials/shrubs, grading, laying sod, mulching, and thorough site cleanup.
- On-Site Leadership: Managing site workflow, handling tools and equipment efficiently, and ensuring every property is left spotless.
- Operational Autonomy: As you prove your reliability,



you will step into leading site execution and representing RI Landscaping professionally in front of clients.

What You Need to Bring to the Table:

- Proven Experience: Deep familiarity with landscaping, softscaping, or intensive outdoor labor. (Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience required).
- Reliability & Maturity: You show up early, you work independently without needing micro-management, and you take absolute pride in your craftsmanship.
- Physical Capability: Strong enough to consistently lift 50+ lbs and comfortable performing a full day of demanding outdoor work in the elements.
- Transportation: A reliable personal vehicle to get to our work zones/meeting spots around Toronto and North York on time (must have reliable daily transport).
- Safety First: CSA-approved (Grade 1/Green Patch) steel-toe boots are mandatory. (We provide gloves and knee pads).
