Job Overview

We are seeking detail-oriented Composite Technicians to join our manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for fabricating, assembling, and repairing composite materials used in industrial applications. This position offers an engaging environment where precision, safety, and quality are paramount. The successful candidates will contribute to the production of high-quality composite products by adhering to strict manufacturing standards and utilizing advanced fabrication techniques.

Key Responsibilities

- Prepare molds, tools, and work surfaces for composite layup.
- Cut, position, and apply fiberglass, carbon fiber, or other reinforcement materials by hand.
- Mix and apply resins, adhesives, and hardeners following precise ratios and safety guidelines.
- Perform manual layup processes including wet layup, vacuum bagging preparation, and basic curing support.
- Inspect materials and finished parts for defects, thickness accuracy, and proper fiber orientation.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations, tools, and equipment.
- Follow production drawings,



work orders, and verbal instructions.
- Assist with trimming, sanding, and finishing composite components as required.
- Adhere to all PPE requirements and safety procedures related to chemicals, resins, and composite dust.

Qualifications

- Previous experience in composite manufacturing, fiberglass work, or hand layup an asset.
- Ability to read basic drawings, measurements, and layup schedules.
- Comfortable working with chemicals, resins, and adhesives.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain consistent quality.
- Physically able to stand for long periods, bend, reach, and lift up to 50 lbs.
- Reliable, safety‑focused, and able to follow instructions accurately.
