We are currently seeking a well-organized and reliable Class 1 Driver to join our team as a Seasonal Aviation Fuel Highway Driver across the Western provinces.
This position offers an above-average salary, dedicated trucks, and paid accommodations (hotel rooms) while out of town, along with meal allowances. Drivers can expect to spend 2–3 nights per week out of town, with reset days spent at home.
You’ll also have the benefit of an on-site repair shop, ensuring your equipment is well-maintained and downtime is minimized.
Key Responsibilities:
- Safely transport aviation fuel across the Western provinces.
- Operate and maintain dedicated trucks to the highest standards.
- Adhere to all Transport Canada Hours of Service regulations.
- Complete trip, fuel, and compliance documentation using E-Logs and company iPads.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of equipment.
- Handle mountain driving, off-road conditions, and chaining up when required.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and utilize the on-site repair shop for maintenance needs.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Valid Class 1 License (required).
- Minimum 3 years Class 1 driving experience (required).
- Experience with fluid hauling is required.
- Skilled in mountain driving, off-road operations, and chaining up.
- Ability to effectively use E-Logs and iPads for compliance and reporting.
- Must reside within 1 hour of Edmonton, AB.
- Fluent in English (required).
Additional Pay:
- Overtime pay (after 10 hours per day)
Schedule:
- 70 hours on / 36 hours off (per Transport Canada Hours of Service regulations).
- Overtime after 10 hours per day.
- Average 2–3 nights per week out of town, with company-paid hotels and meal allowances.
- Reset days are spent at home.
