Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and motivated Cook/Kitchen Hand to join our dynamic culinary team. This role involves assisting with food preparation, maintaining cleanliness in the kitchen, and supporting the overall operation of the food service environment. Duties

- Prepare and assist with food items according to established recipes and standards
- Support kitchen operations by cleaning and sanitizing work areas, utensils, and equipment
- Assist with food handling, storage, and inventory management
- Ensure all food safety protocols are followed diligently
- Help with meal assembly and presentation for service periods
- Operate POS systems for order processing and cashiering duties
- Provide friendly guest services, including taking orders and answering customer inquiries
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment to meet health regulations
- Support barista duties if applicable, including beverage preparation




- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient kitchen workflow

Qualifications

- Previous experience in food service, restaurant, hotel, or hospitality environments is preferred
- Knowledge of food safety standards and proper handling procedures
- Experience with POS systems such as Micros POS or similar platforms
- Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively within a team
- Ability to handle cash transactions accurately if required
- Basic cooking skills and familiarity with meal preparation techniques
- Attention to cleanliness, organization, and attention to detail
- Customer service orientation with a friendly attitude
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining quality standards
- Flexibility to work various shifts as needed, including weekends or holidays if required

Pay: $17.85-$28.17 per hour
