Duties

- Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and presentation standards
- Assist in food preparation tasks such as chopping, marinating, and portioning ingredients
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations, ensuring compliance with food safety regulations
- Support the kitchen team during busy service periods to ensure timely delivery of orders
- Handle food with care, following proper food handling procedures to prevent contamination
- Ensure all dishes meet quality standards before serving to guests




- Collaborate with servers and kitchen staff to coordinate meal service smoothly and efficiently

Skills

- Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, or food service roles within a restaurant or food industry setting
- Strong knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling techniques
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced setting
- Excellent communication skills to coordinate with team members effectively
- Familiarity with meal preparation methods and kitchen equipment operation
- Experience with serving and supporting guest satisfaction through quality food presentation
- Passion for culinary arts and a willingness to learn new techniques and recipes
