Igloo Cold Storage, a privately owned frozen & refrigerated storage facility, is seeking an experienced Warehouse Coordinator to join its team. Ideal candidates will have experience working in cold storage facility and will be knowledgeable in food industry operational & administrative supply chain procedures.
Job Description
- Assist with planning and overseeing daily warehouse operations including scheduling daily receipts and deliveries
- Liaise with customers and enter, update, and print work orders in WMS system
- Answer questions / problem solve for customers regarding their inventory and accounts
- Update and maintain operations & food safety record systems
- Assist in managing warehouse inventory - tagging, tracking, and reporting
- Assist with co-ordinating and transacting regrade activities
- Contribute to team effort by assisting in warehouse duties (shipping, receiving, moving inventory, and maintaining a fully operational facility)
- Promote a protected warehouse culture and assist with employee and food safety policies and audits
- Help maintain a smooth-running office by providing administrative duties as needed
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a supervisory role at a cold storage and/or food handling facility
- Minimum 5 years of experience scheduling daily shipping and receiving activities
- Minimum 5 years of experience working with external customers entering work orders and solving supply chain issues
- Advanced computer, ERP and Microsoft Office skills
- Experience operating barcode inventory scanners
- Experience with perishable food handling policies and regrade activities
- Valid fork-lift & walkie licence and proficiency in operating technical machinery
- Strong organizational and time management skills, as well as exceptional attention to detail
- Ability to work in a fast paced environment and effectively handle stressful situations
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Positive attitude and willingness to take on tasks to completion
Pay and incentives to commensurate with experience
Pay: From $60,000.00 per year
