Responsibilities
- Assist skilled tradespeople by carrying materials, tools, and equipment to designated areas
- Prepare work sites by cleaning, organizing, and setting up necessary supplies and safety barriers
- Perform general manual tasks such as digging, lifting, loading, and unloading materials
- Follow safety protocols diligently to maintain a secure work environment for all team members
- Support site cleanup activities to ensure a tidy and hazard-free workspace
- Operate basic power tools and equipment under supervision as needed
- Contribute to team efforts by completing assigned tasks efficiently and with attention to detail
Qualifications
- Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting heavy objects, standing for extended periods, and bending or kneeling repeatedly
- Strong work ethic with a positive attitude and willingness to learn new skills
- Good communication skills and ability to follow instructions clearly
- Prior experience in construction or manual labour is a plus but not required
- Knowledge of safety procedures relevant to construction sites is advantageous
- Reliable transportation or access to the worksite location
