Pipestone is seeking an experienced and dependable Dispatcher to join our operations team. The successful candidate will have strong knowledge of surrounding oilfield roads, experience dispatching a fleet of equipment and the ability to remain organized in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate and dispatch a fleet of trucks and equipment
- Schedule drivers and equipment efficiently based on operational requirements
- Communicate clearly with drivers, customers and the operations team
- Monitor ongoing jobs and respond quickly to schedule changes or unexpected issues
- Maintain accurate dispatch records using Microsoft Excel
- Assist with after-hours and weekend operational calls
- Work collaboratively with the team to keep operations running safely and efficiently
Qualifications
- Knowledge of Pipestone and the surrounding oilfield roads
- Previous experience dispatching a fleet of trucks or equipment
- Robust organizational and multitasking abilities
- Comfortable working under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Proficient with Microsoft Excel
- Able to work independently and as part of a team
- Available to respond to after-hours and weekend calls as required
Schedule
This is not a traditional 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. position. The role includes after-hours and weekend calls based on operational needs.
The position follows a 10-days-on, 4-days-off rotation.
