Staff Plus is hiring detail-oriented Press/Machine Operator to join our client at a manufacturing warehouse. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating and maintaining various press machines, ensuring high-quality production, and adhering to safety standards.

Location: Burlington, ON

Pay Rate: $18 to $22 - as per experience

Hours: 4pm to 2am (Monday to Thursday)

*Must have own transportation due to no public transit*

What You'll Do:

- Set up and operate production machinery according to production schedules and specifications.
- Load materials into the press and ensure proper alignment for accurate printing or stamping.
- Adjust machine settings, including speed, pressure, and alignment, to ensure optimum performance.
- Monitor production output and inspect finished products to ensure they meet quality standards and specifications.
- Perform regular checks for consistency and taking corrective action when necessary.
- Conduct routine maintenance and cleaning of equipment to ensure smooth operation.
- Troubleshoot mechanical issues and perform basic repairs.
- Work closely with production teams, supervisors,



and other operators to meet production goals and timelines.
- Maintain accurate records of machine settings, production numbers, downtime, and any defects or issues encountered.
- Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

- Minimum 1 year of experience in operating manufacturing machines. Preferably CNC Machines or Stamping Presses.
- Previous manufacturing experience is a must.
- Experience using variety of manufacturing tools.
- Proven track record of reliability, consistency and strong work ethics.
- Ability to lift up to 55lbs independently and ability to stand for long periods.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving abilities.
- Must be legally eligible to work in Canada and able to work full time hours as required by this position.
