Core Responsibilities
- Carefully review, verify, and dispense prescription medications.
- Provide professional medication counseling and patient education.
- Deliver exceptional patient care through medication management and clinical services.
- Perform medication reviews to help improve patient outcomes.
- Work alongside physicians and healthcare professionals to enhance patient care.
- Administer injections and vaccinations as authorized.
- Adhere to Alberta College of Pharmacy regulations and professional standards.
- Keep accurate patient records and pharmacy documentation.
- Manage inventory, controlled substances, and regulatory compliance.
- Support efficient pharmacy workflow while ensuring excellent customer service.
Candidate Qualifications
- Prior community pharmacy experience is preferred.
- Injection certification is considered an asset.
- Strong clinical knowledge and a keen attention to detail.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Commitment to delivering high-quality, patient-centered care.
- Must be legally authorized to work in Canada.
