Principales responsabilités

Sous la supervision du contremaître, le soudeur-assembleur participe aux différentes étapes de fabrication et d’assemblage de structures et composantes industrielles :

- Lire et interpréter les plans de fabrication
- Effectuer le fitting et l’assemblage des pièces
- Préparer les matériaux et composantes
- Réaliser des assemblages mécanosoudés
- Effectuer le soudage principalement MIG
- Vérifier la qualité et la conformité des assemblages
- Participer à la fabrication de structures d’acier, passerelles et projets industriels sur mesure

Profil recherché

- DEP en soudage-montage ou expérience pertinente
- Expérience en assemblage/fitting (atout important)
- Bonne lecture de plans
- Bonne capacité d’analyse et de visualisation
- Débrouillard, autonome et manuel




- Souci du détail et du travail bien fait
- Bonne attitude et esprit d’équipe
- Curiosité et volonté d’apprendre

Key Responsibilities

Reporting to the Shop Foreman, the Welder-Assembler will participate in the fabrication and assembly of industrial structures and components by:

- Reading and interpreting fabrication drawings and blueprints
- Performing fitting and assembly of components
- Preparing materials and parts for fabrication
- Completing welded mechanical assemblies
- Performing primarily MIG welding
- Inspecting and verifying the quality and accuracy of assemblies
- Participating in the fabrication of steel structures, walkways, platforms, and custom industrial projects

Qualifications

- Diploma (DEP) in Welding and Fitting or equivalent relevant experience
- Experience with fitting and assembly (strong asset)
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints
- Strong analytical and spatial visualization skills
- Resourceful, autonomous, and hands-on
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
- Positive attitude and team-oriented mindset
- Curious, motivated, and eager to learn
