Overview

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Automotive Service Technician to join our dynamic team. This role involves diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a wide range of vehicles and equipment, ensuring optimal performance and safety. The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical knowledge, experience with various tools and machinery, and a commitment to delivering excellent customer service. Experience with heavy equipment, industrial machinery, and electrical systems is highly valued. This position offers an opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment where technical expertise and problem-solving skills are essential.

Duties

- Perform comprehensive diagnostics and repairs on automobiles using hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment
- Conduct maintenance procedures including oil changes, tire rotations, brake inspections, and fluid replacements
- Utilize schematics and technical manuals to troubleshoot electrical and mechanical issues
- Operate heavy equipment such as excavators, cranes, forklifts, and industrial machinery when necessary
- Repair or replace components on farm machinery, HVAC systems, or other industrial equipment
- Use welding and fabrication skills for custom repairs or modifications




- Follow safety protocols during all repair activities to ensure a secure work environment
- Communicate effectively with customers regarding repair needs and service recommendations
- Maintain detailed records of services performed and parts used

Experience

- Prior dealership experience or mechanic background preferred
- Hands-on experience with automotive repair, heavy equipment operation, or industrial machinery
- Familiarity with electrical systems, schematics, and troubleshooting techniques
- Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and maintenance tools
- Experience working with farm machinery, HVAC systems, or construction equipment such as excavators or cranes is a plus
- Robust mechanical knowledge combined with excellent problem-solving skills
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and work on projects requiring physical endurance
- Customer service experience is advantageous for effective communication with clients
- Previous work involving assembly or maintenance of complex mechanical systems is beneficial

Pay: $23.25-$40.00 per hour
