**Job Title: General Production Worker (Assembler / Final QC Inspector)** **Job Description**
This role combines hands-on assembly work with final quality control inspection in a clean, organized manufacturing environment.

You will perform the last quality check on the production line, ensuring that completed products meet all company and customer requirements before shipment.

The position suits someone who is detail-oriented, quality-focused, and comfortable with repetitive tasks in a fast-paced, evolving workplace.

**Responsibilities**

+ Perform final quality inspections on assembled products before they leave the production line.
+ Verify that products meet all internal quality standards and customer specifications.
+ Identify, document, and report defects, nonconformances, or quality concerns in a timely manner.
+ Complete assembly tasks as required, including fine and detailed assembly work.
+ Use mechanical and power tools, as well as measuring tools, to assemble and verify components.
+ Handle general production and general labour tasks to support overall manufacturing output.
+ Use basic computer systems to track products, record inspection results, and complete quality checks.
+ Maintain accurate records and documentation related to production and quality control activities.
+ Follow established safety, quality, and standard operating procedures at all times.
+ Lift, kneel, reach, and bend as needed to complete assembly and inspection tasks safely.
+ Collaborate with team members to maintain high production and quality standards.
+ Participate in a culture of continuous improvement by raising issues and suggesting process enhancements.

**Essential Skills**

+ Previous manufacturing experience performing repetitive tasks.
+ Experience with general labour and general production work in a manufacturing setting.
+ Ability to use mechanical tools, power tools, and measuring tools safely and accurately.
+ Manual dexterity to perform fine and detailed assembly work.
+ Strong attention to detail with a focus on accuracy and quality.
+ Ability to identify defects and quality issues during final inspection.
+ Basic computer knowledge to perform product tracking and quality checks.
+ Good communication skills to report issues and collaborate with the team.
+ Physical ability to lift, kneel, reach, and bend as required throughout the shift.
+ Comfort working as the final quality control check on the production line, taking ownership of product quality.
+ Positive attitude and reliability in a production environment.

**Additional Skills & Qualifications**

+ Previous assembly, manufacturing, or quality control experience.
+ Experience working with cables and soldering is an asset.
+ Similar work experience in a production or mechanical environment is preferred.
+ Demonstrated competence in following procedures and meeting production targets.
+ Strong focus on detail and quality orientation.




+ Willingness to adapt to an evolving and always changing environment.
+ Ability to contribute ideas, suggestions, and feedback to improve processes.

**Work Environment**
The role is based in a safe, clean, and organized manufacturing facility that includes a machine shop floor and warehouse, along with a second facility for assembly production and office operations.

You will work with mechanical and power tools, measuring tools, and basic computer systems as part of daily production and quality control activities.

The standard schedule runs Monday to Friday from 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., with occasional extended hours up to 5:30 p.m. and some weekend work as needed.

The position starts as a 3‑month contract with robust potential for extension based on performance.

The dress code includes safety-to-work boots, with safety glasses, ear protection, gloves, dust masks, and high-visibility vests provided on site to support a safe working environment.

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00/hr.
