We are seeking a skilled and customer-oriented Mobile Phone Repair Technician and Sales Technician to join our team. This dual-role position involves diagnosing and repairing a variety of mobile devices while also assisting customers with product inquiries, sales, and after-service support. The ideal candidate will have a passion for technology, excellent troubleshooting skills, and a strong background in sales or customer service.
Key Responsibilities: Technical Duties:
- Diagnose and repair hardware and software issues on mobile phones and tablets (iOS, Android, etc.)
- Perform repairs including screen replacements, battery replacements, charging port fixes, and water damage treatment
- Maintain detailed repair records and ensure parts used are tracked
- Test devices for functionality before and after repairs
- Keep up to date with the latest repair techniques and mobile technology trends
Sales Duties:
- Assist customers with purchasing mobile phones, accessories, and service plans
- Demonstrate product features and explain technical details to non-technical customers
- Upsell accessories and additional services to meet sales targets
- Handle customer inquiries and complaints in a professional manner
- Process transactions using POS systems and manage inventory
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent (technical certifications a plus)
- Proven experience in mobile phone repair will be preferred
- Strong sales or retail background
- Knowledge of common operating systems (Android, iOS) and smartphone components
- Excellent troubleshooting and diagnostic skills
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a rapid-paced, team-oriented environment
Working Conditions:
- Must be able to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift items up to 25 lbs
- Exposure to small electronic components and hand tools
