Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and organized part-time Medical Receptionist to join our team in a fast-paced medical office environment. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for patients, providing exceptional customer service while managing administrative tasks efficiently. This role is essential in ensuring smooth operations at the front desk and facilitating effective communication between patients and healthcare providers.

Responsibilities

- Greet patients warmly and assist them with check-in and check-out processes.
- Manage phone systems to answer calls, schedule appointments, and handle inquiries.
- Maintain accurate patient records using Electronic Medical Records (EMR) systems - Oscar Pro.
- Process patient information and verify insurance details.
- Coordinate with healthcare providers to ensure timely patient care.
- Handle administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and maintaining office supplies.
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations regarding patient confidentiality.




- Assist with billing inquiries and payment processing as needed.

Qualifications

- Previous experience as a Medical Receptionist or in a dental office setting is preferred.
- Familiarity with software is a plus.
- Proficient in using phone systems and office equipment.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to multitask effectively in a busy environment.
- Knowledge of electronic medical records systems is advantageous.
- A friendly demeanor with a commitment to providing outstanding patient care.
