Summary

We are seeking a skilled Red Seal Electrician with Millwright experience to join our team. This role will be responsible for electrical maintenance, troubleshooting, and installation of electrical equipment, as well as the repair of our CNC machinery, mechanical maintenance, and equipment reliability across the shop.

Responsibilities

- Diagnose, repair, and maintain electrical systems on CNC machine tools (Okuma, Brother, HAAS, Nakamura-Tome, Kitamura)
- Perform millwright tasks including alignment, mechanical repairs, hydraulics, pneumatics, and preventive maintenance
- Troubleshoot and repair motors, drives, controls, PLCs, and power distribution
- Install and commission new equipment
- Maintain high safety standards and documentation
- Work with production team to minimize machine downtime

Requirements





- Valid Red Seal Electrician certification (Interprovincial Red Seal endorsement required)
- Proven millwright experience (dual ticket is a solid asset)
- Minimum 3–5 years of industrial or manufacturing maintenance experience
- Strong knowledge of CNC machinery electrical and mechanical systems
- Ability to read electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals
- Reliable, safety-conscious, and able to work independently
- Must be able to work from heights
- Must have Knowledge in CSA Z462 - Workplace Electrical Safety
- Valid driver’s license and own tools preferred

Pay: $38.00-$45.00 per hour

Experience:

- Industrial or Manufacturing Maintenance: 3 years (preferred)
