Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Referral Coordinator to join our healthcare team. Must have experience with Healthquest, minimum of 2 years.

The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in managing patient referrals, ensuring seamless communication between patients, healthcare providers, and insurance companies. This position requires a strong understanding of medical terminology and experience in a medical office setting with minimum of 3 years to effectively coordinate patient care.

Responsibilities

- Manage and process patient referrals in a timely manner, ensuring all necessary documentation is complete.
- Communicate with patients regarding their referrals, appointments, and any required follow-up.
- Collaborate with healthcare providers to facilitate the referral process and address any issues that may arise.
- Maintain accurate records in healthquest, ensuring compliance with privacy regulations.




- Verify insurance eligibility and advantages for referred services.
- Assist in scheduling appointments for patients with specialists or other healthcare providers.
- Provide support to the office team by handling administrative tasks as needed.

Experience

- Previous experience in a medical office setting, with Healthquest experience setting is a must.
- Familiarity with medical terminology is essential for effective communication and documentation.
- Solid organizational skills and attention to detail are required to manage multiple referrals efficiently.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, are necessary for interacting with patients and healthcare professionals.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $19.00-$22.00 per hour
