Front of House Server – New Downtown Toronto Location

Kajiken is opening a brand-new location at Spadina Ave & Queen St W in Downtown Toronto this August, and we're looking for enthusiastic Front of House Servers to join our opening team!

Start Date

Training will begin in the middle of August at our Kajiken North York location. Team members will then transfer to our new Downtown Toronto location for the grand opening at the end of August.

Responsibilities

- Welcome guests with a friendly and professional attitude.
- Take customer orders accurately and efficiently.
- Serve food and beverages while providing outstanding customer service.
- Process payments using the POS system.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming dining area.
- Work closely with the kitchen and fellow team members to ensure smooth service.




- Assist with opening and closing duties.

Qualifications

- Previous restaurant or customer service experience is an asset, but not required.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
- Able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Reliable, punctual, and a strong team player.
- Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Legally authorized to work in Canada.
