Description

CANAMMEATS is presently recruiting for a Logistics Coordinator with experience in the International markets. The position is part of our International Trading strategy and it comes with a rewarding compensation structure and full benefits.
Responsibilities
- Plan, organize, coordinate, arrange freight and monitor the transportation and movement of goods/containers (reefers)
- Co-ordinate day to day logistics activities required for the transportation of products, via Airfreight/Sea freight, ground, international, domestic and trans border
- Interface with service providers: ocean carriers, rail, truck and warehousing
- Research and procure transportation tenders and quotations
- Monitor shipment movements-strong follow up required
- Support International Traders
- Follow up on payment invoices.
- Keep up to date with government regulations
- Prepare folders for each trade
- Prepare Export documentation
- Prepare documents for importing process
- Communicate with Custom Brokers and ensure proper custom tariff classification

- Ability to work in fast paced environment, meet deadlines, and strong attention to detail

- Good computer skills-MS Excel & Word
- University Graduate or College graduate with international Trades courses or related Logistics Chain Trade program courses
- Minimum two years’ experience in Logistics or Freight
- Excellent English skills
- Must speak and read fluent Spanish if hired for our Mexican and Latin American market
